Questions & Answers
No. The Papr Document Editor runs entirely in your browser. Documents you create or import are stored locally in your browser’s IndexedDB and never uploaded to any server.
Yes. Use Import DOCX from the toolbar (or open one from Recent). Headings, lists, tables, images, and page setup are preserved.
Yes. The toolbar has Export as DOCX and Export as PDF buttons. PDF export uses your configured page setup (size, margins, orientation, headers, footers, page numbers).
Documents up to roughly 20 MB save reliably. Embedded images are the main contributor to size — large screenshots will push you toward the limit faster than text.
Once loaded in your browser, yes. The app and your documents are local. The first visit needs an internet connection to download the app.
Yes. The editor adapts for touch with a drawer sidebar, scrollable toolbar, and 44 px touch targets. Editing is most comfortable on a tablet, but phones work for quick edits.
