How to Use Split View

Split View lets you work with two document panes at once, which is useful for side-by-side review, cross-checking revisions, and comparison workflows.

Why Use Split View?

  • Compare two versions of a document side by side
  • Copy details from one file while editing another
  • Review contracts, invoices, and reports faster
  • Use the compare panel to highlight differences after OCR

Step-by-Step: Split View Workflow

Step 1: Open Your First Document

Start by loading your first PDF in the editor. This will appear in the left pane when Split View is enabled.

Tips for Better Comparisons

  • Keep versions named clearly: include dates or version numbers in file names.
  • Run OCR in both panes: this improves text-based comparison and search.
  • Use bookmarks: add anchors in each file to jump between key sections.
